What is Health IT?
Health IT offers infrastructure and support systems to manage health information. It helps consumers, payers, providers, and quality monitors exchange this information electronically and securely.
Why I love it
I started out writing in health and healthcare. It was through learning about patient care, provider struggles, hospital and payment system successes, and failures that I discovered my other interests.
But healthcare and health IT was where it all started. Some particular areas of interest for me are telehealth and EHR because I believe these are two essential aspects of better care and more efficient work for providers and payers.
